Each cup is grooved vertically by a technique called "Shinogi." The grooves provide a good grip as well as an interesting pattern with a slight shading of color on the uneven parts. Available in green, red and orange.

Pottery: Mino. Mino-yaki has been made in the Gifu Prefecture since 15th century. Now it is the biggest pottery production kiln in Japan. Famous Shino and Oribe styles are a part of Mino-yaki.
